Do you have trouble telling a Willet from a Whimbrel? Do Snowy Plovers get lost among the Sanderlings? If so, you may enjoy our early Spring workshop on Shorebirds! Thursday, February 2, Art Langton will present an evening overview of the birds likely to be seen at Malibu Lagoon.
This informative talk will be followed by a field trip to Malibu Lagoon on Saturday, February 4. (Click here for time and map)
Not only is Art an expert birder, he is also a longtime educator who will bring both skills to the workshop. He will bring mounted specimens of several birds for a closer look. He is asking participants to bring a field guide if possible to the workshop.
